Food Plant Machine Operator
American Berry Company is looking for skilled machine operators for our day shift 6a-6p and night shift 6p-6a. Our Machine Operators follow a 2-2-3 schedule with 12 hour shifts. That means you have a three or four day work week, so you can work hard, but play harder!
Our machine operators will keep our production line moving. They will be working on/with the following machines: extractor/infuser system, filter, evaporator, and dryer to help us produce sweetened dried cranberries and cranberry concentrate. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

- Perform startup, shutdown, and CIP on machines within our production facility
- Troubleshoot equipment and work to maintain quality and output standards
- Complete quality and other product testing as required
- Operate the HMI Control System
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork and records
- Update lead and/or managers on any issues or concerns from the shift
- Implement and validate SOPs
- Following all safety guidelines and lockout/tag out requirements at all times
- Follow all food safety guidelines and GMP requirements
- 2+ years machine operating experience, food manufacturing is a strong plus
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot machines
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety guidelines
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull product generally around 20-30 pounds
- HMI Systems experience is a plus
