The Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

Risk Management Specialist

(1-Full-time) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
  • Current RN licensure, or related clinical certification/licensure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Solid organizational and customer service skills
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • 5 years or more of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in identifying or mitigating risk
  • Knowledgeable in medical or dental clinic standards
  • Must have ability to handle confidential information on a need-to-know basis as defined by SCHC.
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
  • Document, and ensure communication of, key risks.
  • Gather risk-related data from internal and external resources.
  • Produce reports or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, and recommend changes.
  • Develop and maintain an incident reporting system.
  • Identifies training requirements for specialized areas within the organization; develops content of training, collaborates with Human Resources to integrate training into LMS and training criteria for appropriate departments and staff.
  • Maintains policy & form drive for organization.
  • Oversees provider peer reviews.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
