Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to assist the surgical services team including Ortho, Urology and General Surgery at Geauga Medical Center. The APP will help with inpatient consults, pre/post op care with the potential for some OR time. APP experience, OR and surgical experience strongly preferred. New grads with surgical background will be considered. Schedule will be day shift no weekends. Full time and Part time hours available.

• Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures
• Develop and implement treatment plans

Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
Demonstrated competence as a practitioner
Effective oral and written communication skills
A variety of technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area
Computers and selected office equipment

Education/Expertise:
Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.

Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.

CNS with prescriptive authority

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):
Nurse Practitioner: BLS required; ACLS preferred; Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.; Current APRN license to practice in Ohio.
