This position assists operators in all of their regular daily duties. Demonstrate progressive knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods involved in the operations of waste-water treatment plant, knowledge of safe working practices and ability to keep records.

Training and Experience: Graduation from high school or posses GED equivalent, and must pass the operations apprentice examination to qualify for this position.

Ability to obtain a class 4 operator certificate from the state of Illinois to be eligible for promotion.

This job is a swing shift position with the possibility working any of the three shifts or a combinations of the three shifts and including weekends.

The starting wage offered for this position is $18.99 per hour. With excellent fringe benefits.
