Farm Positions Available

Pasco Farming is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Parma, ID area

Farm Manager – Farm in Parma area seeks an experienced Farm Managerto direct all duties having to do with operating a crop farm, including supervising employees and production of potatoes and other vegetables (i.e., corn, hay, peppers, onions). Must have experience with pivot sprinkler irrigation. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of farm management experience and enthusiasm for leading a large, multicultural staff through the annual cycle of crop production. 

Mountain Home, ID area

Irrigation Manager – Must have in depth knowledge of pivots AND be able to turn pivots on/off and get pivots unstuck. Must have experience with watering requirements of crops and supervising workers.

Operator – Must have previous experience operating farm equipment.

Irrigators – Must have in depth knowledge of pivots AND be able to turn pivots on/off and get pivots unstuck. Possible housing arrangements may be available.

Laborers – General farm laborers

Assistant Farm Manager - Farm in Mountain Home area seeks an Assistant Farm Managerto assist with all the duties having to do with operating a crop farm, including supervising employees and production of potatoes and other vegetables (i.e., corn, hay, peppers, onions). Must have experience with pivot sprinkler irrigation. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of farm management experience and enthusiasm for leading a large, multicultural staff through the annual cycle of crop production. 

Mechanic –The Farm Equipment Mechanic ensures equipment repairs and assists with field operations.  The position performs maintenance and assists with other duties in the off-season in preparation for the next crop season. The position also participates in all farm operations including manual labor; farm equipment operation (e.g., tractors, etc.); and working in the shop. The duties of the position vary with the seasons and the needs of the operation, so it is important this individual is willing to adapt to changing circumstances, is flexible, and has a good attitude.  Responsibilities include, but are not limed to:

• Ensures proper maintenance and availability of farm equipment.
• Welds and fabricates farm equipment for proper operation.
• Performs electrical work including wire feed/ARC.
• Transports equipment as necessary to support operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Burley, ID area

Assistant Farm Manager- Farm in Burley area seeks an Assistant Farm Managerto assist with all the duties having to do with operating a crop farm, including supervising employees and production of potatoes and other vegetables (i.e., corn, hay, peppers, onions). Must have experience with pivot sprinkler irrigation. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of farm management experience and enthusiasm for leading a large, multicultural staff through the annual cycle of crop production. 

All positions require ability to troubleshoot and fix problems, work at a fast pace, AND work long hours. Pay is depending on experience.
