Job Description

1G is a 22 bed Progressive Non-ICU unit at Blodgett hospital that specializes in the care of a variety of medically complex patients, including those with cardiac arrythmias and who require bipap. People are drawn to 1G for its teamwork, dedication to excellence, and the opportunity to learn and challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment. Charge nurses from our floor are also a part of the code response team and receive ACLS certification.

Nurse Technicians act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• LIFE SUPPORT\Basic Life Support (BLS) Within 90 Days
