Job Summary:
Performs clinical, laboratory, and clerical support activities.Assists physicians and/or other medical personnel in providing patient care, recording vital patient data, performing standardized routine tests such as phlebotomy patient specimen collection.Performs clerical activities such as greeting and directing patients, accessioning tests, producing reports, answering telephones, gathering and entering data, and scheduling appointments.

Float Medical Office Assistant's must float across Department of Medicine sites: Hill Medical Building, Oneida Office, Upstate @ Community, 550 Harrison Street, NAPPI Building, UHCC, T5 Office, Liverpool Office, Baldwinsville Office, Fayetteville Towne Center Office & Homer.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; current CPR certification; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
