These are school term, job level 4 ($20.10-$20.47/hour), 7 hour/day positions. The paraprofessional will work under the direction of a special education teacher and a building principal. The paraprofessional will be trained to restrain students if the need occurs. The paraprofessional will also work with the student(s) in the areas of academic, remedial skills, behavior skills, emotional skills and other areas as assigned by the supervising teacher and the principal.

A minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Assessment or two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) is required.
