Job Description:
Plans, organizes, and directs pharmacy services for hospital inpatients and outpatients and the retail pharmacy. Establishes policies, procedures, and departmental objectives. Supervises department personnel and all pharmacy functions including establishing pharmaceutical requirements, stock levels, and the receipt, control, and issue or sale of controlled substances and other pharmaceuticals. Requires Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American College on Pharmaceutical Education and current Pharmacist license by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy preferred. At least 40 hours of training in IV preparation and aseptic technique.
