Executive Director
The Maryland Retired School Personnel Association (MRSPA), a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization, seeks an Executive Director. MRSPA is the only association that works exclusively for almost 12,000 certificated and non-certificated school personnel who have retired from a school system in Maryland.
The Executive Director:
- serves as Chief Executive and Operating Officer
- actively manages the Association and staff
- reports to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors
Requirements:
- evidence of administrative and leadership experience
- educational experience preferred
- knowledge of legislative process
- ability to work with diverse populations
- excellent communication skills, including ability to use social media and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Outlook
- ability to understand financial statements and budgets
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
