BreadWorks Bakery, Celebrating 41 year servicing the wonderful people & businesses of Pittsburgh, is seeking a full time Packing Manager. 

Job Description

• Night Shift
• 5-6 days a week
• Exhibit Leadership to motivate employees to meet business needs and production requirements
• Oversee & assist packers in duties of slicing, bagging, and shipping breads
• Ability to work with new employees on individual basis or in small groups, train them on procedures related to all aspects of packing
• Handling employee/department related problems
• Employee scheduling
• Enforce policies per Employee Handbook
• Communicate directly with senior management/HR
• Address employee concerns
• Ability to apply quality standards to baked products via visual inspection
• Ability to provide corrective action when required
• Ability to work/communicate with other departments
• Work overtime when necessary to meet business and customer needs/demands
• Pay based on upon experience/knowledge
• Experience in food industry a plus
• Experience in managing a packing environment required
• ServSafe Certification a plus

Shift:

• Starting time 7:00pm
• Ability to work Saturday and Sundays
