Summary
The District Court of King County, Washington is seeking a visionary Court Operations Director to oversee the administrative functions and operational efficiency of the court system and access to judicial services. They will be one of two Operations Directors and will serve as the primary administrator of the contract with 13 cities within the County that receive their municipal court services from the District Court. This engaging and personable Director will directly oversee a staff of 15, which includes location managers, training consultants, a business analyst, and up to 160 indirect staff. They will also serve at the discretion of 25 elected judges. They will travel to the Court's eight locations in Auburn, Bellevue, Burien, Issaquah, Kent, Redmond, Seattle, and Shoreline to support and empower each location manager, ensuring successful court administration. They will be responsible for coordinating case flow, leveraging technology and data to enhance operations, and serving as a liaison with the public. The ideal candidate will have a background as an administrator in a large court system, be technologically and politically savvy, maintain strong communication and a consistent message, and uphold a positive work culture for an exceptional and capable staff.
