The Pantagraph, located in downtown Bloomington, Illinois, is now hiring a creative, motivated student journalist for a 10-week paid internship this summer.

We want our intern to walk away with a rewarding, real-world newsroom experience, a pile of great clips and the skills they need to develop into the next generation of journalists. We will provide an atmosphere of collaboration and support.

Qualified candidates should be inquisitive self-starters who are capable of producing compelling content for our digital and print platforms. Interns should feel empowered to find and pitch great stories about our increasingly diverse communities.

We are seeking a variety of applicants, from news and sports reporters to photographers and videographers.

Candidates should have their own transportation to assignments and must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
