Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Iowa sales division in revenue growth, customer service and fulfillment of all local community involvement initiatives.

Reports to: President - Iowa Business Unit

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Understand our ordering systems to help us meet publication and digital deadlines
  • Communicate with sales reps and clients regarding creative assets and billing
  • Work with creative team in providing print and digital advertisements
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Provide data tracking reports and guides to sales team and clients
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
  • Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches
  • Review pending orders and specific customers' requests to ensure excellent customer service
  • Assist in tracking and help identify additional prospects for the sales teams
  • Be a resource for other various administrative assignments as needed by the Iowa SBU President and the department
  • Responsible for managing any statewide advertising department initiatives that involve Iowa.
  • Attend partner organization events and represent the advertising department. Direct support of ad department partner agreements, including partner special projects.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a sales support or administrative assistant
  • Hands on experience in using multiple systems
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Experience forecasting and running numbers, while, managing goals and trends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Teamwork and motivational skills
  • Microsoft Office and HubSpot experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience.
