Job Title: 1491 FT Senior Training and Development Specialist - Jasper, IN, Evansville, IN, Louisville, KY

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate go-getter like you to design, facilitate and administer programs that develop and improve employee performance. As a Senior Training and Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in fostering collaborative partnerships across German American business units. The successful candidate for this role will have three or more years of experience in a corporate training and development setting, where you demonstrated strong skills with proven results in analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. You also have experience managing projects, facilitating meetings and courses, and leading and scaling programs across the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Daily Grind – Your focus will be on designing, developing, implementing and facilitating various development courses for the organization. This includes developing and maintaining course materials such as facilitator and participant guides as well as performance support tools, such as eLearning and videos. You will proactively utilize learner and performance data to drive results.
• You’re Part of a Team – You are a member of the Training and Development Team. As a senior member of the team, you will model your talents in instructional design, facilitation, and project management, mentoring others at times. You will be the primary facilitator for some courses and be prepared to support team members on others as needed.
• And you have to be able to juggle – Multiple and conflicting priorities will come up under time constraints. In concert with your leader and training and development team members, you will need to act quickly when issues arise.

What it Takes:

• Three plus years of successful contributions within a corporate training department.
• Strong instructional design and facilitation skills
• Skills in: building relationships, listening, adapting to business needs, designing learner centered courses, facilitating, planning and organizing, managing projects in various stages of completion, analyzing, critical thinking, motivating and coaching others, negotiating and reporting progress
• Ability to: work in a fast-paced environment and achieve goals, communicate effectively, make engaging presentations, maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp information quickly, and work independently and as a team member.

Bonus points:

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience using Articulate Storyline or Camtasia
• Cornerstone or other Learning Management System (LMS) experience
• Bilingual/Multilingual
