Manager - Human Resources

The Full Employment Council, a premier workforce organization is seeking a Human Resource Manager. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer & is responsible for all HR functions including employee relations, maintenance of personnel records, files, & software system, recruiting & interviewing applicants for positions available, maintain workmen's compensation, and benefits package system. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing staff development and training initiatives.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment. A Bachelors degree is required for this position in Human Resources or a related field and 2+ years of experience in Human Resources and benefits management. Executive Assistant

 

The CEO of the Full Employment Council (FEC), a premier non-profit workforce development organization, is looking for an Executive Assistant. The individual will be responsible for maintaining records of all local and federal issuances and bulletins, provide staff support to the board of directors and other associated, type documents as required by the CEO, effectively answer all inquiries of the executive division, compose, compile, and edit routine correspondence, organize and maintain an effective filing system, interact effectively with other high level executive staff of the organization within the organization.

Must have minimum of 3-5 years experience of supporting a senior level executive, Bachelor’s degree or a degree related to the business or industry, 3-5 years preferred, experience in supporting a senior level executive, typing skills of 60-70 wpm good written and verbal communication skills, computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, ability to work flexible hours, ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, reliable transportation and auto insurance, must be able to pass a background check.

Director - Community Engagement, Brand and Digital Strategy

The Full Employment Council, a premier workforce development organization is searching for a Director of Community Engagement. This position will support the leadership structure of the FEC, by planning and executing events management, special projects development, communications management, and written product communiqué’s, (annual reports), newsletters, proposal development and execution within the organization leadership of the agency. The incumbent will execute and oversee efforts to manage meaningful outreach to diverse audience via social media including bloggers, Twitter, Face book, YouTube, etc., Build strong working relationship with local media resulting in timely media planning. Work with various communication vendors to effectively communicate FEC brand. Proactively develop the written communication venues including informational brochures annual report, newsletters etc.

Concurrently, incumbent must be able to engage in fund development efforts that require superior writing, research, and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or journalism required, strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Suite, knowledgeable of the local business and civic communities, two-three years experience in executive communications, event management, and organizational brand management.
