Beyond Paper Maintenance Multi-craft Technician A global supplier of fiber based engineered products, offering innovation, world-class service and a 156 years of advanced technical expertise, with a role at their "world class"/"state of the art, advanced airlaid production facility located in eastern Fort Smith/Fort Chaffee Arkansas. Night Shift schedule Role: Specialized care, installation, replacement, & repair of all types of industrial manufacturing equipment used. System maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting & repairing, installation & Cl activities.

Duties & Responsibilities: Maintains a Safe working environment for self & others. Collaborates w colleagues maximizing maintenance performance. Complies w codes & local statutes.

• Utilizes PLC's to solve electrical/electronic/instrumentation, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic problems. Repairs and/or replaces components as necessary.

• Installs new/replacements equipment in accordance to blueprints & specifications for alignment, rotation, speed, etc. Uses relevant tools, measuring and testing equipment.

• Documents work and changes made to the system, collecting records/data.

• Performs welding & fabrication as necessary.

• Works w resources resolving challenges. Works w resources on training initiatives.

• Other assignments & duties, as established in concert with Maintenance Leadership.

Qualifications:

Technical certificate from a two-year college/technical school (CMRT). Associates degree preferred, or 10 years + related experience, or equivalent combination of education & experience.

• PLC experience & exposure - ability to utilize in troubleshooting.

•TIG, MIG, Stick welding & fabrication skills. Familiar w pumps, rotary booster, centrifugal, etc.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems (up through 480V). Electronics & Instrumentation experience diagnosing and repair. Understanding & respect for proper equipment alignment & adjustment.

• Ability to read & interpret documents, plans & schematics, manuals, etc. Write routine reports, collaborate/ communicate w maintenance & other departments. Experience with lock-out-tag-out, arc flash procedures, and NFPA as applicable to trade.

• Experience w computer based systems for PMs, parts control, & work orders (SAP, MP3)
