The Florence Morning News, a Lee Enterprises company is hiring a Multimedia Journalist. This position combines traditional and digital elements to tell news stories. Primary duties include gathering information, conducting interviews and creating news stories. Basic photo and video skills are necessary. Diverse reporting opportunities can include government, "cops and courts," business and general assignments/features. The ideal candidate will have good people skills, a positive attitude and solid work ethic, along with the ability to stay focused amid a variety of distractions. The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday most weeks, with evening and weekend work required as necessary.
